Beef steak wraps with mayonnaise pickle
Ingredients
For the filling
- 75g gherkins, chopped
- 2 tbsp capers, chopped
- ½ red onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise (Helmann`s)
- Dash Worcestershire sauce
- Dash Tabasco sauce
You will also need
- 2 large wraps (Pocoloco)
- 4 large slices frying-steak
- 1 large red pepper, diced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh seasoning
- 2 large tomatoes, sliced
- Salad leaves
Method
Start this recipe by preparing the filling. Mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl and put in the fridge to chill. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a pan and quickly fry the meat and pepper together, seasoning well with salt and pepper. As soon as the beef is cooked, it should only take a minute or two, remove it from the pan and quickly slice thickly using a sharp knife. Quickly put the wraps together. Lay out the wraps on your work surface and spread over the filling in a thick layer. Top with the sliced steak and pour over any juices. Cover with a few slices of tomato and some salad leaves and wrap up tightly. Cut the wraps in the middle diagonally and serve immediately with some potato wedges.
