Pin wheels with ragu and scamorza cheese

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 quantity pizza dough
  • 1 can gran ragu (Star)
  • 1 smoked scamorza cheese
  • Pine nuts (Lamb Brand)
  • 1 beaten egg
  • Sesame seeds (Lamb Brand)

Method

Roll the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Trim the dough into a neat rectangle & spread with the ragu. Shred the scamorza cheese over and sprinkle with the pine nuts. Roll into swiss roll shape and slice into pin wheels. Lay on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, brush with egg wash, sprinkle with sesame seeds. Allow to rest for 15 minutes and bake in a hot oven until browned.
