Pancakes with homemade chocolate and hazelnut spread and bananas
Serves:
Ingredients
- 225g light brown caster sugar
- 225g peeled roasted hazelnuts
- 600g dark chocolate, chopped
- 500ml semi skimmed milk
- 6 ready made pancakes
- 3 bananas
Method
Whiz the sugar in a food processor until fine, add the hazelnuts and continue whizzing for approx. 5 minutes until the mixture turns into a paste. Gradually whizz in the chocolate and next pour in the milk. Transfer the obtained mixture in a bain-marie and allow to cook gently for 20 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to cool before transferring to a glass jar. Spread the choc-hazelnut paste over the pancakes and roll around bananas. Slice and skewer for serving.
