Mixed berry mousse jars

Serves: 5-6

Ingredients

  • 500g frozen mixed berries, defrosted (Tesco)
  • 300ml fresh cream (Benna)
  • Zest and juice of 2 limes
  • 60g caster sugar
  • 2 sheets leaf gelatine

Method

Start by softening the gelatine in cold water for 3 minutes. Place into a saucepan with the lime zest and juice and melt. Next, place the sugar in the Thermomix bowl and blend on speed 7 for 10 seconds. Add in the berries and chop for 1 minute on speed 7. Place on butterfly attachment, add in gelatine mixture and mix 1 minute on speed 2. Finally, add in the cream and mix for 2 minutes on speed 5. Pour into serving jars and chill for 2 hours to set before serving.

Vazetti bil-‘ mousse’ tal-‘berries’

Ingredients

  • 500g ‘berries’ mħallta tal-friża (Tesco)
  • 300ml krema friska
  • qoxra u meraq ta’ 2 luminċell
  • 60g ‘icing sugar’
  • 2 folji weraq tal-ġelatina

Method

Ibda billi trattab il-ġelatina fl-ilma kiesaħ għal 3 minuti. Poġġi ġo kazzola mal-qoxra u l-meraq tal-luminċell u dewweb. Sussegwentement, poġġi z-zokkor fl-iskutella tal-mixer u ħawwad għal 10 sekondi. Żid il-berries mqatta’ u ħawwad għal minuta. Żid mat-taħlita il-ġelatina u ħawwad minuta oħra. Fl-aħħar, żid il-krema u ħawwad għal 2 minuti. Ferra’ fil-vażetti u kessaħ għal sagħtejn biex toqgħod qabel isservi.
