Fresh tuna served with rucola and lemon segments

Ingredients

  • 2 fresh tuna loins, approximately 250-300g each
  • Handful rucola leaves
  • 1 lemon, segmented
  • Black peppercorns, cracked
  • Extra virgin olive oil

 

Method

Season the tuna loins well with cracked black peppercorns. Heat a griddle pan with a little oil and sear the tuna for not more than 3 minutes on each side. Serve immediately top with the rucola leaves, lemon segments and a good drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
