Chocolate and berry cups

Ingredients

  • 12 mini sweet pastry cups
  • 12 fresh raspberries or blackberries
  • 100g dark chocolate (Topsy)
  • 100g fresh cream (Benna)
  • 1 tbsp rum or brandy
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar for dusting

 

Method

Start this recipe by melting together the chocolate, cream and alcohol in a small saucepan over a low heat to form a ganache. Use the mixture to carefully fill the sweet pastry cups. Leave out to set for 2 hours. Before you are ready to serve the chocolate cups, arrange fresh berries on the top of each one and dust lightly with icing sugar just before serving.
