Berry bakewell cake

Ingredients
150g unsalted butter (Benna)
150g caster sugar (Lamb brand)
150g ground almonds (Lamb brand)
150g self-raising flour (Lamb brand)
3 eggs
½ tsp almond extract (Lamb brand)
2-3 tbsp milk (Benna)
250g mixed berries
30g flaked almonds (Lamb brand)
1 tbsp icing sugar (Lamb brand)
Vanilla pouring custard for serving
Method
Heat the oven to 160`c and line a 20cm round cake tin with non-stick paper. In a medium bowl beat together the butter and sugar till light. Add in the eggs, flour, ground almonds, milk and extract and beat together for 4-5 minutes till light. Fold in the berries and spoon into the prepared cake tin. Sprinkle over the flaked almonds and bake for approximately 50 minutes. Dust with icing sugar and serve with the vanilla pouring custard.
