Baked chocolate puddings with berries

Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 100g butter
  • 150g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 150g caster sugar
  • 75g plain flour
  • 6 eggs
  • Berries and icing sugar to decorate

Method

Start this recipe by lightly greasing 4 ramekins with butter and put aside. Next, melt the butter in a medium pan over a low heat, then add the chocolate and stir until melted and smooth. Remove from the heat and stir in the sugar and flour. Beat in the eggs, one at a time until you have a smooth batter. Carefully pour the mixture into the greased ramekins. Half fill a baking dish with boiling water and place in the ramekins. Bake in the oven at 200`C for 12-15 minutes, or until just set around the edges – but it should still be slightly wobbly in the centre. Allow to cool down slightly before serving decorated with fresh berries and a dusting of icing sugar.
