Meat feast cheesy sausage crust pizza

Ingredients

  • 500g readymade pizza dough
  • 200g tomato sauce
  • 200g shredded mozzarella
  • 75g diced Pancetta
  • 2 onions, caramelized
  • 100g minced beef
  • 1 tbsp. mixed garlic, cumin and paprika powder
  • 100g salame Ventriccina
  • 100g nduja sausage
  • Good pinch oregano
  • 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
  • packet sausages (Dewfresh)

Method

Start by frying the minced beef with a drizzle of olive oil for 2 minutes then season with salt, pepper and the 1 tbsp. mixed spices and continue to cook for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, roll the pizza dough on a floured surface into a 36cm circle. Brush a deep pan pizza tray with olive oil and roll over the pizza dough overlapping over the sides. Take the nduja chicken sausages and press around the edges on the pan, roll over the pizza dough and pinch to enclose the sausages inside the pastry. Spread the base with the tomato sauce, top up with the shredded mozzarella and all the remaining ingredients including the cooked spiced beef. Brush the pizza rim with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle over the sesame seeds.  Allow pizza to rest for 20 minutes before baking at 200°C for approximately 12-15 minutes or until cooked.

Method

Ibda billi taqli l-ikkapuljat taċ-ċanga bi ftit żejt taż-żebbuġa għal 2 minuti, imbagħad, ħawwar bil-melħ, bżar u mgħarfa ħwawar imħallta u kompli sajjar għal 5 minuti. Sadanittant, iftaħ l-għaġina tal-pizza fuq wiċċ bid-dqiq f’ċirku ta’ 36ċm. Idlek trej tal-pizza fond biż-żejt taż-żebbuġa u itfa’ l-għaġina tal-pizza fuqu bil-ġnub ’l barra mit-tarf. Aqbad iz-zalzett u agħfas madwar it-truf tat-trej, dawwar l-għaġina tal-pizza fuqu u oqros biex tagħlaq iz-zalzett ġewwa l-għaġina. Ifrex il-bażi biz-zalza tat-tadam, imla bil-mozzarella mqattgħa u l-ingredjenti kollha li jifdal inkluż iċ-ċanga msajra. Idlek it-tarf tal-pizza b’żejt taż-żebbuġa u roxx biż-żerriegħa tal-ġulġlien. Ħalli l-pizza tistrieħ għal 20 minuta qabel issajjarha fil-forn f’temperatura ta’ 200°C għal madwar 12-15-il minuta jew sakemm issir.
