Black forest fridge cake

Ingredients

  • 300g dark chocolate
  • 180g unsalted butter
  • 1 ½ tbsp golden syrup
  • 150g raisins
  • 180g cherries, halved
  • 250g plain biscuits

 

Method

Gently melt the chocolate, butter and syrup over a bain marie. Keep stirring until smooth then add the raisins, cherries and biscuits. Make sure you coat everything with chocolate. Prepare a tin and cover the bottom with cellophane. Press the mixture with your hands and chill for 3 hours
