Petite pois dip with yogurt and mint

Ingredients

  • 250g frozen petite pois, defrosted
  • 2 spring onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • Small bunch fresh mint leaves
  • 120g Greek yogurt
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Good glug olive oil
  • fresh seasoning

Method

Place the defrosted peas, spring onions, garlic and mint leaves in a food processor and pulse for a few seconds, leaving chunky. Add the remaining ingredients and continue to pulse. Taste for seasoning and chill before serving.

  • 2 basliet twal (spring onions) imqattgħa
  • 1 sinna tewm imqattgħa
  • fergħa żgħira tan-nagħniegħ
  • 120g jogurt Grieg
  • ½ kuċċarina kemmun mitħun
  • ½ kuċċarina frak tal-filfel niexef
  • 1 kuċċarina meraq tal-lumi
  • żejt taż-żebbuġa
  • bżar u melħ

Method

Poġġi l-piżelli (li tkun ħriġt minn qabel mill-friża biex jinħallilha s-silġ), il-basal, it-tewm u l-weraq tan-nagħniegħ ġo food processor u ħawwad għal ftit sekondi. Żomm it-taħlita magħquda. Żid l-ingredjenti l-oħra u kompli ħawwad. Ħawwar qabel isservi.
