Warm festive punch

Ingredients
- 1 bottle red wine (DELICATA RED LABEL)
- 250ml apple juice (PFANNER)
- 250ml pineapple juice (PFANNER)
- 150ml lime juice
- 2 cinnamon sticks, broken in half (BART)
- 1½ tsp freshly grated nutmeg (BART)
- 1 bay leaf (BART)
- 30g soft brown sugar
- 300ml brandy
- 1 lime, orange and lemon, sliced
Method
Warm the wine, fruit juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, bay leaf and sugar over a low heat, stirring frequently until almost boiling. Remove from heat and leave to infuse for at least 1 hour (the longer it is left to infuse, the stronger the flavours become). Return to heat, add fruit slices and bring close to the boil again, adding sugar to taste. (At this stage you can also add 1 tbsp of your favourite liqueur or spirit, if you wish) Pour into a warmed punch bowl and serve in goblets with the slices of fruit and a piece of cinnamon.

- 30g zokkor ismar artab
- 300ml brandy
- lime, larinġa u lumija, imqattgħin
Method
Saħħan l-inbid, il-meraq tal-frott, il-bsaten tal-kannella, in-nutmeg, ir-randa u z-zokkor flimkien fuq nar bati. Ħawwad kontinwament sakemm it-taħlita tkun kważi se tiftaħ tagħli. Itfi n-nar u ħalliha toqgħol mill-anqas siegħa (aktar ma tħalliha, aktar tieħu togħma). Erġa’ itfagħha fuq in-nar, itfa’ l-biċċet tal-frott u ħalliha sakemm kważi tiftaħ tagħli. Żid iz-zokkor għat-togħma. (Jekk tixtieq, tista’ żżid mgħarfa likur jew l-ispirtu favorit tiegħek). Itfa’ t-taħlita fi skutella u serviha bil-biċċet tal-frott u b’biċċa bastun tal-kannella.
