The best cheesy garlic bread

Ingredients

  • 2 globes garlic, tops cut off
  • 100g salted butter, softened (Valio)
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (Zanetti)
  • Extra salt to season
  • 2 medium sized French sticks, cut in half

Method

Start by cutting 2 squares of foil. Lay the garlic globes, tops cut off on top and season well with salt, pepper and a drizzle of olive oil. Wrap up and bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes till soft. Meanwhile, place the softened butter into a bowl and add in the parsley. Squeeze in the soft cook garlic puree from the globes and season with extra salt. Mix together well and spread onto the French stick halves. Place onto baking trays and bake at 200°C For 10 minutes, then sprinkle over the Parmesan cheese and continue to cook for 4-5 minutes. Serve cut into pieces.
