Sweet and sour pork with teriyaki noodles

Ingredients

For the pork

  • 400g Pork loin
  • 100g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp fresh cream (Benna)
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 200ml sweet and sour sauce

For the noodles

  • 300g rice noodles
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 small leek
  • 3 mushrooms
  • 3 tbsp sesame oil
  • small bunch coriander
  • 120g teriyaki sauce (Tiger Tiger)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce

Method

Whisk well the flour, eggs, cream and turmeric. Cut the Pork in cubes, dip in the egg mixture and deep fry. Meanwhile in a saute pan heat the sweet and sour sour and toss the pork in. Cut the vegetables in strips and and saute in sesame oil, meanwhile boil the noodles and drain, toss them in the pan add the soy sauce, teriyaki and keep tossing on low heat. Remove from heat add the chopped coriander and serve.

  • 400g flett tal-majjal
  • 100g dqiq
  • 2 bajdiet
  • 3 kikkri krema friska
  • nofs kuċċarina turmeric
  • 200ml zalza ‘sweet and sour’

Għan-noodles

  • 300g noodles tat-ross
  • bżaru aħmar
  • kurrat żgħir
  • 3 faqqiegħ
  • 3 mgħaref żejt tal-ġulġlien
  • mazz żgħir kosbor
  • 120g zalza teriyaki
  • 2 mgħaref soy sauce
