Paprika and honey glazed drumsticks

Ingredients

  • 12 chicken drumsticks
  • 2 heaped tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp hot paprika
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Fresh seasoning
  • Chopped parsley for serving

Method

In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, paprika and honey and season with salt and pepper. Place the drumsticks on a large baking tray, and brush them all over on both sides with the paprika mayonnaise, using a pastry brush. Place the baking tray in a hot oven at 200`c, and bake the paprika drumsticks for 30 minutes, or until the drumsticks are golden brown in colour. Remove the baking tray from the oven, and baste the drumsticks with the juices in the tray. Place the paprika and honey glazed drumsticks onto a dish and serve sprinkled with chopped parsley.

  • 12-il koxxa tat-tiġieġ
  • 2 mgħaref mayonnaise mburġati
  • 2 kuċċarini paprika pikkanti
  • mgħarfa għasel
  • ħwawar friski
  • tursin imqatta’ biex isservi

Method

Fi skutella żgħira, ħallat flimkien il-mayonnaise, il-paprika u l-għasel u ħawwar bil-bżar u l-melħ. Poġġi l-koxox fuq tilar u b’pinzell idlikhom bil-mayonnaise tal-paprika li tkun għamilt. Daħħal it-tilar fil-forn, f’temperatura ta’ 200oC għal 30 minuta jew sakemm il-koxox jiħmaru. Oħroġhom mill-forn u ferrex il-meraq tat-tiġieġ fuqhom. Poġġi l-koxox bil-paprika u l-għasel fi platt u ferrex ftit tursin fil-wiċċ qabel isservi.
