Marinated chicken drumsticks

Ingredients

For the marinate

  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 small can pineapple rings
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 150ml natural yogurt (Benna)
  • Sesame seeds
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Mint leaves

You will also need

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 3 large potatoes, cut into French fries and cooked
  • Cherry tomatoes

Method

Cut slits in the chicken drumsticks, trim off excess fat and season with salt and pepper. Whizz the marinade ingredients with a food processor into a thick, creamy marinade. Marinate the chicken with the obtained marinade, in a refrigerator preferably overnight. Grill the chicken drumstick on a non stick griddle pan, turning frequently on every side of the chicken. Finish cooking in a moderate oven. Serve sprinkled with more mint leaves, sesame seeds and cherry tomatoes accompanied with French fries.
