Maltese sausage and Chicken patties with a creamy peanut butter sauce

Ingredients

  • 100g Maltese sausage
  • 100g chicken mince
  • 50g grated mozzarella
  • 3 slices Parma ham
  • 2 tbsp. peanut butter
  • 100ml vegetable cream (Gran Cucina)
  • 1 tbsp. oil
  • 1 tbsp. minced ginger and garlic paste
  • ¼ red chili
  • 6 shot glasses
  • 6 fancy toothpicks

Method

In a bowl mix together the sausage meat, chicken mince and mozzarella. Form into 30g patties. Heat a large pan with a little olive oil and seal the patties on both sides, then finish to cook in the oven. Toast the Parma ham slices under the grill or in a microwave than chop finely once cooled. In a pan, heat together the ginger and garlic mince with the chili, then add in the peanut butter and cream. Stir together well and remove from heat. To serve, spoon the sauce at the bottom of each glass, followed by a patty and the toasted Parma ham.

  • 100g ikkapuljat tat-tiġieġ

  • 3 iflieli Parma Ham
  • 2 imgħaref butir tal-karawett
  • 100ml krema veġetali
  • mgħarfa tewm u ġinġer mitħun
  • kwart ta’ bżaru aħmar pikkanti
  • 6 shot glasses
  • 6 stikkadenti mżejna

Method

Fi skutella ħallat flimkien il-laħam taz-zalzett, l-ikkapuljat tat-tiġieġ u l-mozzarella. Ifforma f’pulpetti ta’ 30g. Saħħan it-taġen kbir bi ftit żejt taż-żebbuġa u ssiġilla l-pulpetti fuq iż-żewġ naħat, imbagħad, lesti biex issajjar fil-forn. Ixwi l-flieli tal-Parma Ham taħt il-gradilja jew fil-microwave u qattagħhom fin ladarba jiksħu. Ġo taġen, saħħan flimkien il-ġinġer u t-tewm mal-bżaru aħmar, imbagħad, żid il-butir tal-karawett u l-krema. Ħawwad flimkien sew u neħħi minn fuq in-nar. Biex isservi, poġġi z-zalza fil-qiegħ ta’ kull tazza, segwit minn pulpetta u l-Parma Ham mixwi fil-wiċċ.
