Liquid chocolate with orange brandy

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 300g dark chocolate, broken into chunks (Novi)
  • 600ml milk
  • 150ml double cream (Elmlea)
  • 1 tot brandy
  • Zest of an orange

Method

Put the chocolate in a pan with the milk. Gently heat, stirring until all the chocolate has melted. Continue heating until the milk is steaming, then remove from the heat and stir in the cream, brandy and orange zest. Divide the hot chocolate between 8 small glasses and serve whilst still warm.
