Gingerbread crinkle cookie bags

Ingredients
For the cookie mixture
- 375g plain flour
- 150g brown sugar
- 2 tsp ginger
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Good pinch salt
- Good pinch ground cloves
- 1 tsp mixed spice
- 170g margarine (Stork)
- 200g treacle
To decorate
- 100g sugar
- 60g icing sugar

Method
Start by placing the flour, sugar, spices, baking powder and salt into a bowl, add in the margarine and rub together to form a crumb. Mix in the treacle to form a soft dough and chill for 1 hour or overnight. When ready, scoop out small balls, roll into the sugar then into the icing sugar. Place well apart on the baking sheet and bake at 180°C for 12 minutes. When cooled down, place into cellophane bags with other festive treats and seal.
