Colman’s rustic chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 packet rustic chicken spices (COLMANS)
  • 600g chicken breast, cut into chunks
  • 650g potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 150g carrots, sliced
  • 100g green beans, topped and tailed
  • 125ml cold water

Method

Place all the ingredients into the special baking bag, and sprinkle in the chicken spices. Seal the bag and shake well, to coat all the ingredients with the spices. Place the bag into a oven-proof dish and bake in the oven for 45minutes, at 190`c. When cooked, remove the dish from the oven and carefully slit open the oven bag with a knife. Serve the rustic chicken with warm crusty bread. Suggested accompanying wine: DELICATA Pjazza Regina Red I.G.T. Maltese Islands

  • 600g isdra tat-tiġieġ, imqattgħin f’dadi
  • 650g patata, imqaxxra u mqattgħa roti
  • 150g zunnarija, imqattgħa roti
  • 100g fażola twila, bit-truf imneħħija
  • 125ml ilma kiesaħ

Method

Poġġi l-ingredjenti kollha fil-borża tal-ħami, u ferrex il-ħwawar tal-pakkett. Issiġġilla l-borża u ħawwad sew biex il-biċċiet tat-tiġieġ jinksew tajjeb bil-ħwawar. Poġġi l-borża f’dixx u aħmi għal 45 minuta, f’temperatura ta’ 190oC. Meta jkun lest, oħroġ id-dixx mill-forn u bil-galbu iftaħ il-borża b’sikkina. Servi t-tiġieġ bil-ħobż sħun.
