Chocolate and peach puff pastry tart

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet pre-rolled puff pastry
  • 2 tbsp chocolate and hazelnut spread (Novi Crema)
  • 8 peaches, stones removed and sliced
  • 1 tbsp sliced pistachios or flaked almonds
  • 1 tbsp caster sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Icing sugar for dusting
  • Vanilla ice-cream for serving (Carte D`dor)

Method

Using a fork, prick the pre-rolled puff pastry sheet all over and spread lightly with the chocolate and hazelnut spread. Fold over the edges by 1 cm all around. Lay over the peaches side by side in neat rows. Brush the border with water and sprinkle over the caster sugar. Drizzle the honey over the peaches and bake in the oven at 200`c for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through.  To serve, dust with icing sugar and a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
