Chicken satay with ginger and toasted sesame seeds

Ingredients

  • 3 large chicken breasts cut into thin strips
  • 3 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp minced garlic (TIGER TIGER)
  • 1 tsp minced ginger (TIGER TIGER)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • you will also need wooden skewers soaked in water and peanut dipping sauce to serve

Method

This recipe is extremely easy to prepare. Just mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, ensuring that the chicken strips are coated well. Thread the chicken strips onto the wooden skewers and place on a baking tray, side by side. If you have time to leave the chicken to marinate you can, otherwise place the baking tray in the oven at 200`c and cook for 15 minutes, turning the chicken skewers onto the opposite side half way during cooking. Remove the chicken skewers from the oven and sprinkle with the toasted sesame seeds. Serve the chicken satay skewers while still hot with a bowl of peanut dipping sauce on the side.
