Braised pork belly with star anise
Serves:
Ingredients
- 500g pork belly
- 2 star anise
- 50g sugar
- 10ml soy sauce
- Fresh seasoning
- Honey
- Butter
- 300ml water
Method
Trim the extra fat on the sides of the pork belly and remove the skin. Cut slits on top of the skin. Add the rest of the ingredients to a deep thick pan, add the belly and cook for 1 hour 40 minutes in oven at 160`c.
