Banana bread with chocolate chips

Ingredients
- 115g butter, melted
- 150g caster sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 180g plain flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 140g Greek yogurt
- 2 over-ripe bananas, mashed
- 150g dark chocolate chips
Method
Preheat the oven to 175`c and line a loaf tin with baking paper. In a large bowl, stir the melted butter and sugar together. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix well. In a separate large bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder and salt together. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Add in the yogurt and the mashed bananas and mix until just combined. Gently stir in the chocolate chips and spoon the mixture into the prepared loaf tin. Bake in the oven for 55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Cool the loaf in the pan for at least 30 minutes before removing it.
