Baked cinnamon crumble apples with vanilla ice-cream

Ingredients

2 tbsp Brown sugar (Lamb brand)
1 tbsp Butter (Lake land)
3 tbsp Plain flour
2 tsp Ground cinnamon
2 tbsp Chopped walnuts
3 Apples
1 tbsp Runny honey
Vanilla ice-cream for serving (Carte d’ or )

Method

Start by making the crumble topping. Rub together the sugar, butter, flour and cinnamon to a crumb and mix in the chopped walnuts. Heat a little butter in a pan and brown the apples on the flat side. Place onto a baking tray and cook for 10 minutes in the oven at 200c. Remove from the oven, pile on the crumble topping and continue to bake in the oven for another 20 minutes to cook the crumble. You can serve either hot or cold drizzled with honey and served with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream on top of each apple.
