Baked caramel and brie stuffed dates

Ingredients

1/2 Brie cheese round (Emborg)
16 medjool dates, slit down the middle and stones removed
16 walnut halves
Few fresh thyme leaves
16 hard caramels, unwrapped (Werthers)
200g rolled puff pastry
1 egg for glazing (Coccodi)
2 tbsp sesame seeds

Method

Start by stuffing the dates with half walnut, piece brie, 1 caramel and a few leaves of thyme. Cut the rolled puff pastry into 16 x 8cm squares. Glaze very lightly with beaten egg and wrap one stuffed date into each piece of pastry, twisting the 2 edges like a wrapped sweet. Place onto a baking tray, glaze with more beaten egg and sprinkle over the sesame seeds. Bake in the oven at 200`c for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
