Peach and almond torte

Ingredients
- 250g flour 00
- 60g ground almonds
- 125g castor sugar
- 125g natural yoghurt
- 90g melted butter
- 3 eggs
- 6 peaches
- 1 level tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- pinch of salt
Method
This recipe is extremely easy and quick to prepare. Pre-heat the oven at 170°c. Butter and flour a 23 cm round cake tin. In a large mixing bowl, beat together all the ingredients except the peaches. The mixture should be well blended and smooth. Next, wash and chop the peaches. Carefully mix the chopped peaches into the batter, trying to avoid breaking them up. Pour the finished batter into the prepared cake tin, sprinkle with some sugar and bake for approx 40 minutes.
