Grilled cinnamon pears and maple syrup and ginger crunch

Ingredients

  • 2 pears, halved and hulled
  • 1 knob butter (Valio)
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar (Lamb brand)
  • 4 ginger biscuits, broken
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Good drizzle maple syrup
  • Vanilla ice-cream for serving (Carte D’or)

Method

This is a very easy dessert to prepare. Brown the pears in a griddle pan with the butter and place onto a baking tray. Mix together the biscuit, brown sugar and cinnamon and spoon on top of the pears. Place in the oven at 200°C and bake for 6-8 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve immediately with spoonful’s of vanilla ice-cream.
