chocolate and pistachio salami
Serves: 40
Ingredients
- 80g unsalted butter
- 150ml fresh cream
- 150g dark chocolate, chopped
- 80g caster sugar
- 180g morning coffee biscuits
- 2 tbsp rum
- 50g cocoa powder
- 100g pure ground almonds
- 50g roasted almonds
- 50g roasted hazelnuts
- 50g walnuts, broken
- 50g pistachios
Method
Start this recipe by melting together the butter, chocolate, fresh cream and sugar till smooth. Crush the biscuits leaving chunky, then place into a large bowl with all the remaining ingredients and the melted chocolate mixture. Form into a large sausage shape and wrap up in cling film. Place into the fridge overnight. When ready to serve, remove the cling film, roll in icing sugar and cut into slices.

- 50g lewż inkaljat
- 50g ġellewż inkaljat
- 50g ġewż imfarrak
- 50g pistaċċi
Method
Dewweb flimkien il-butir, iċ-ċikkulata, il-krema friska u z-zokkor sakemm ikollok taħlita ratba. Farrak il-gallettini f’biċċiet kbar. Itfagħhom fi skutella mal-ingredjenti l-oħra li fadal u t-taħlita taċ-ċikkulata mdewba. Ifforma t-taħlita f’zalzett kbir u geżwru fil-cling film. Poġġih fil-fridge għal lejl. Meta tkun se sservi, neħħi l-cling film, ferrex iz-zokkor fin u qattgħu f’biċċiet.
