Chocolate and peanut butter pops
Serves:
Ingredients
For the biscuit crumb
- 200g bourbon biscuits, crushed
- 75g butter, melted
For the filling
- 2 tbsp peanut butter, softened
- 200g cream cheese
- 250gml cream, whipped
- 50g salted roasted peanuts, chopped
You will also need
- 1 tin caramel filling
- Melted chocolate for dipping (optional)
Method
For this recipe you will need small plastic cups and wooden lollypop sticks. To make the biscuit crumb, just mix together the crushed biscuits and the melted butter. Place a spoonful in the biscuit in the base of each glass. Spoon over a little of the caramel. Next, make the filling by mixing together the cream cheese with the peanut butter. Fold in the whipped cream, followed by the chopped peanuts. Spoon the filling over the caramel and repeat the process again to fill the glasses. Pop in a wooden lollypop stick into each glass and place them in the freezer for a few hours or overnight. To remove from the glass, place into a bowl of hot water for a couple of seconds and remove using the lollypop stick. Immediately place into the melted chocolate and allow to harden before serving if using.
