Chocolate and marshmallow squares with honeycomb pieces
Serves: 36
Ingredients
- 100g butter, roughly chopped
- 300g chocolate, chopped
- 3 tbsp golden syrup
- 100g rich tea biscuits, roughly crushed
- 25g cornflakes
- 1 handful mini marshmallows
- 130g `Crunchy` honeycomb chocolate bars, chopped
Method
Gently melt the butter, chocolate and syrup in a pan over a low heat, stirring frequently until smooth. Take off the heat and allow to cool for about 5 minutes. Next, stir in the crushed biscuits, cornflakes, honeycomb chocolate bars and marshmallows, mixing well until well mixed. Pour the mixture into a 20cm round spring release tin lined with greaseproof paper and even out. Chill the cake in the fridge for an hour for the chocolate to harden before serving cut into small squares.
