Chicken kiev

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 packet Maggi `Herb and garlic` So crispy
  • 1 egg, beaten

You will also need

  • 50g butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • juice of a lemon
  • 1 tsp chopped tarragon
  • 1 tsp chopped parsley

 

Method

Start this recipe by preparing the garlic butter. Mix all the ingredients together and place in the fridge to harden up. Next, prepare the chicken breasts by removing the fillets and putting them aside. Slice a slot through the chicken breasts on one side only, making a small pocket through the chicken breast. Stuff each breast with the prepared butter. Hammer the removed chicken fillets and stuff one in each of the pockets, sealing the butter in the chicken breasts. Dip the chicken breasts into the beaten egg, then into the herb and garlic so crispy crumb mix. Place the coated chicken onto a baking tray and bake in the oven at 200`c for 25-30 minutes.
