Baked pears with honey and orange mascarpone

Ingredients

2 Pears, stalks and cores removed
2 tbsp Melted butter
2 tbsp Flaked almonds (Lamb brand)
1 tsp Ground cinnamon
6 Digestive orange oat biscuits (Gullon)
1 x 200g tub Mascarpone (Zanetti)
1-2 tbsp Honey
1 tsp Finely grated orange zest

Method

Start by melting 1 tbsp butter in a pan and brown the pears flat side down for 5-6 minutes till almost cooked. Place onto a baking tray. Roughly crush the biscuits and mix with the remaining 1 tbsp melted butter and flaked almonds and spoon over the pears. Sprinkle with a little cinnamon and bake in the oven at 200`s for 5-7 minutes. Meanwhile mix together the mascarpone, honey and orange zest. When baked, serve the pears either hot or cold with a spoon of the mascarpone cream on top.
