Stuffed cucumbers with cream cheese and crispy bacon and paprika
Serves: 30-40
Ingredients
- 200g cream cheese with chives
- 8 slices streaky bacon
- 2 cucumbers
- Paprika to decorate
Method
Start this recipe by grilling the bacon slices until brown and crispy. Use a sharp knife to chop the crispy bacon into small pieces and put aside. Next, use a potato peeler to remove parts of the cucumber skin so that it leaves stripes in the skin. Cut the cucumber into 1.5 cm slices and remove a little of the filling to create a cup. Place onto a serving tray and pipe in the cream cheese with chives. Top with the crispy bacon pieces and sprinkle with paprika just before serving.

Ixwi l-biċċiet tal-bacon sakemm jiħmaru u jiġu jqarmċu. B’sikkina tajba qattagħhom f’biċċiet żgħar. Imbagħad, b’xafra tal-kċina qaxxar partijiet mill-qoxra tal-ħjar biex tifforma bħal strixxi. Qatta’ l-ħjar f’roti ta’ 1.5ċm u ħaffer ftit il-wiċċ biex tifforma ħofra. Poġġihom f’dixx u imliehom bil-ġobon kremuż. Itfa’ l-biċċiet tal-bacon fil-wiċċ u qabel isservi ferrex ftit paprika.
