King prawns with basmati rice
Serves:
Ingredients
- 6 king prawns
- 100g basmati rice
- 100g vegetable stock
- 50g butter
- 2 lemon juice
- 50ml white wine
- 20g basil
Method
Start by cooking the rice in boiling water for 8 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat a pan and seal the prawns for 2 minutes on each side. Add in the lemon juice and white wine and reduce. Next, pour in the vegetable stock and simmer to reduce the sauce to the correct consistency. Finally, stir in the chopped basil and butter for flavour and serve with the cooked rice .
