Chocolate fudge cake

Ingredients
For the cake
- 150g self-raising flour
- 30g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 175g light brown sugar (SILVER SPOON)
- 175g unsalted butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 50g melted chocolate (SILVER SPOON)
For the fudge icing
- 200g unsalted butter
- 200g icing sugar (SILVER SPOON)
- 200g melted chocolate (SILVER SPOON)
Method
This is a very fast and easy recipe to prepare. Put all the cake ingredients into a food processor and whizz until smooth. Divide the mixture into 2 x20cm greased cake tins and bake for 30 minutes in the oven at a temperature of 170`c. Meanwhile, prepare the fudge icing. Whizz together the butter and icing sugar in a processor, then add the melted chocolate and whizz again. Use this cream to sandwich and ice the cake.
