Chilli and sesame beef with an orange and dill dressing

Ingredients

For the beef

  • 400g beef fillet
  • ½ red chilli
  • 2 tsp sesame seeds
  • 3 tbsp sesame oil (Tiger Tiger)
  • 1 tbsp honey

For the salad

  • Bunch salad leaves
  • 1 whole orange
  • 2 spring onions
  • 5 cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh dill
  • ½ celery stick
  • 35g deseeded cucumber
  • 10 crushed walnuts (Lamb Brand)
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce (Tiger Tiger)

Method

Cut the beef fillet in 4 steaks and flat them out to a minute steak, chop the chilies and toss the beef in the rest of the ingredients. Allow to rest and grill on high heat on the bbq. Next, prepare the salad. Chop the spring onions, Dill, walnuts, slice the celery, cucumber and quarter the cherry tomatoes. In a bowl with the salad leaves grate half the orange and squeeze all the orange than toss in all the other ingredients and serve on the side.
