Banana, honey and nut delight

Serves: 6

Ingredients

  • 250ml fresh cream, chilled
  • 3 bananas, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1½ tbsp icing sugar
  • 3 tbsp honey, slightly warmed
  • 80g slivered almonds, toasted

Method

Whip the cream in a chilled bowl for a few minutes, add the sugar and continue whipping until the cream is stiff. Stir in 1 tablespoon honey and then stir in the bananas. Divide the mixture into 4 glass goblets, drizzle over the remaining honey and serve topped with the slivered almonds. Serve chilled.

Suggested accompanying wine: DELICATA Casella Moscato Sweet White wine

Mousse tal-banana, ghasel u lewz

Ingredients

  • 250ml krema friska, mkessha
  • 3 bananiet, mqaxxrin
  • Mgharfa w nofs icing sugar
  • 3 mgharef ghasel, msahhan hafif
  • 80g lewz inkaljat u mqatta

Method

Habbat il-krema f’skutella kiesha ghal ftit minuti, zid iz-zokkor u kompli habbat sakemm il-krema tghaqad sew. Zid mgharfa ghasel, hawwad hafif umbaghad zid il-banana. Hawwad fliemkien umbaghad qassam it-tahlita f’erba koppi tal-hgieg. Xerred il-kumplament tal-ghasel fil-wicc u l-lewz. Servi kieshin.
