Pear, gorgonzola and walnut strudel

Ingredients
- 2 pre-rolled puff pastry sheets
- 2 pears, peeled cored and sliced
- 1 packet gorgonzola dolce (Galbani)
- 1 tub mascarpone cheese (Galbani)
- 50g walnuts, crushed (Lamb brand)
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 1 egg (Le Naturelle)
- 1 tbsp. poppy seeds
Method
Roll open the puff pastry onto a lightly dusted surface and spread with the cream cheese. Sprinkle with pear slices, dot with gorgonzola cheese and crushed walnuts. Drizzle with honey. Carefully roll the puff pastry like a Swiss roll and transfer onto a baking tray lined with baking paper. Brush with the beaten egg and sprinkle with poppy seeds and prick randomly with a fork. Bake at 175°C for approximately 25 minutes. Allow to cool down slightly before slicing.
